SCULPTURE BOOTHBAY grew out of one fortuitous meeting called by Maine Stone Workers Guild members Dick Alden, Dan Ucci, Andreas von Huene and Bill Royall in late 2015. They wanted to start a stone sculpture symposium on the coast of Maine and found eager allies and sponsors to make that dream a reality.

Maine Stone Symposium

Nine of Maine’s most notable living stone sculptors, along with guests from Japan & Canada, and two interns transform blocks of Maine granite for all to see
